You can then browse around many stands and display areas totally relaxed with no pressure. John Quinn is very proud of his staff and says he has been very fortunate to have wonderful people working for him over the years, in particular, Mary, Maeve and Clare. Without which, his success today would not be possible. They are very enthusiastic, more than helpful and obviously enjoy their work. ‘I have tried to create an atmosphere within the office which is unique to estate agents by having a happy staff. This has transmitted to customers and clients who feel totally at ease, reassured, and not intimidated in any way. This is crucial to our success and my staff must take a lot of credit for this. ’, says John.
Indeed, John Quinn himself is a confirmed workaholic who loves to start work bright and early most mornings. The office is open at 9 am but John is very often in the office at 7:30 am. Between viewings, showing houses, valuations and meetings, rarely, if ever, does John finish before 10pm most nights. Sometimes later!
John is so dedicated to this work that clients will tell you that he never stops working and his capacity to cope with pressure and hard work is quite amazing. He believes that the role of an estate agent has changed over the years. Naturally, the primary objective is to sell and sell well but, in doing so, needs and concerns of both buyer and seller must be accommodated in a considerate manner. Herein lies the popularity of John Quinn and Co. Essentially, the business is about people- it’s all about people- being able to achieve the results that people want in both selling and buying. And, it is about putting every ounce of effort and drive into every sale whether it is for fifty thousand euro or in excess of a million euro.
People in Galway have remarked over the years upon their slogan, ‘The Estate Agent Who Puts You First’, well it is true. John Quinn and Co. really do and their goal is to continue to deliver brilliant results in a manner that has people throughout Galway agreeing with the slogan that they really are, ‘the estate agents that you would recommend to a friend.’
